French artist Aima Saint Hunon is a versatile creator who has achieved remarkable success in multiple artistic fields. Born in Paris, she studied at the Olivier de Serres School of Applied Arts in Paris and later became an apprentice to international artist Gérard Valtier. Her solid academic and practical experiences laid the foundation for her artistic career.

Her works often focus on the soft curves of the female figure, integrating feminine beauty and strength—such as Earth and Sky and Heady Dance—imbued with romantic elegance and poetic reverie. Some sculptures were even selected for the artistic exhibitions of the Paris Olympics. In her sculptural practice, she emphasizes constructing a unique connection among space, time, aesthetic perception, and passion, pursuing emotional power through abstract realism. For materials, metals like bronze are cast, carved, and polished according to strict standards.

She has held solo exhibitions or participated in group shows worldwide, including the Grand Palais in Paris, New York (e.g., solo exhibitions at Maxdi Gallery in SoHo and the Southampton Arts Center Art Fair), China (e.g., the Shanghai Art Fair, Beijing, and Taiwan), and Nelson, New Zealand.

After her first visit to China in 2012, she fell in love with Chinese culture. In 2023, she was invited to start a creative journey in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, where she was attracted by the city’s complete handcrafted porcelain system and established a studio there. She collects broken ceramics for re-creation, blending Eastern and Western aesthetics in her works—such as pieces that embody the charm of both Western goddesses and Eastern Buddhist bodhisattvas. She has also engaged in exchanges with enterprises and art institutions in Dongguan and other cities, promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between France and China.
